Loki is a prince of Asgard and the rightful heir of the Jotuheim. He is the god of mischief. He is a lord of manipulation and deceit. He is highly intelligent and has immense knowledge. Loki has incredible strength and power. He is superior to humans in terms of durability and longevity. Loki is also an expert combatant. He is an expert at using knives and blades.
In his desire for power, he extends his reach to Earth. He believes that Earth needs a ruler, and he is the suitable one for it. But he encounters super heroes who challenge him with their intentions.
After stealing the Tesseract, an alternate version of Loki is brought in by the Time Variance Authority. It is a bureaucratic organisation that exists outside of time, space, and various monitors of the timeline.
Loki is given two choices from them. Either they will destroy him or he will help them fix the timeline and fight against the greatest threat.
In the second season of the series, Loki is in the battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority with the help of Mobius M. Mobius and Hunter B-15. He also navigates through the dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, and Miss Minutes. He is searching for the means to possess free will and a glorious purpose.
Actors Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan, and Owen Wilson are playing various characters in the series.
The season is produced by Marvel Studios, with Eric Martin serving as head writer and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team.
The series will be released on Disney+. Each episode has a scheduled release date.
