When star kids are launched in films these days, we assume that it will be a bad film. Such an atmosphere has been created in the past but this decision should be made only after watching the film, because if you have talent, you can make your own place. When I saw the trailer of Loveyapa, I felt that it has become a complete mess.
The promotion of the film was also kept around just one song while there is a lot more in the film. This film is a very relatable film for today’s generation which also gives a good message and must be watched.
Story
Gaurav and Bani i.e. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor love each other. When Gaurav goes to meet Bani’s father Ashutosh Rana, his father puts a condition that both of them will give their phones to each other and that too for 24 hours. This is where each other’s secrets are revealed, but the matter does not end here.
This film also gives a good message on body shaming and also explains the likes and dislikes of today’s online life, and to understand this, go to the theatre.
How is the film?
This is a good film and better than expected. Don’t go by its name and don’t ignore it just because it has star kids. This story is of today’s generation. It could be yours. It could be your children’s. This film teaches you a lot in a fun way, makes you understand.
Acting
Junaid Khan‘s acting has edge, range, he has done theatre and it shows. He proves that he is Aamir‘s son. After watching the promo, it seemed that this is not his type of film, but a good actor is the one who proves your thinking wrong. Junaid looks perfect in this role.
