Singer Lucky Ali, 65, argues that being a faithful Muslim these days is becoming increasingly lonely. He also enumerated the different consequences of the situation.
Lucky Ali, the singer famed for songs such as Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, O Sanam, and Kitni Haseen Zindagi, has spoken out about what it’s like to be a Muslim today. He added that it is a “Lonely Thing” to be labelled as a “Terrorist” by the world.
Lucky Ali took to his X account on Friday and said, “It’s a lonely thing to be a Muslim in the world today.” It is a lonely thing to follow the Prophet’s sunnah; your friends will abandon you, and the world will call you a terrorist.” While fans were unaware of the content of Lucky’s tweet, they flooded the comments section to reassure the artist that he was not alone.
One of them commented, “Ustaad ji, there are both nice and bad individuals. For what it’s worth, coming from a nobody like me, you’re a legend and always will be. Every nice person is a good person. Period. It doesn’t matter whether he is Lucky Ali or Lucky Sharma.” Another asked, “Does it even matter?And if your friends are abandoning you, they were never your pals. You should be grateful that your religious beliefs allow you to grasp the psychology of others around you; otherwise, you would have been perplexed your entire life.”
Lucky Ali is the son of the late great actor Mehmood. He lives in Bengaluru and is an organic farmer. Lucky is primarily remembered for his sweet tunes from the early 2000s. His most recent single, Tu Hai Kahaan, was recorded and produced by The Local Train and featured Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi in the romance comedy Do Aur Do Pyaar.
