The story of the series revolves around a young woman named Byun Ji Sook. She works as a sales clerk at a local department store. She comes across a young girl named Seo Eun Ha, who exactly looks like her.
Byun Ji Sook is facing financial struggles in her life. Her family is under debt because of the gambling habits of her father and brother. On the other hand, Seo Eun Ha is the daughter of a congressman. She engaged to a hier of a Chaebol named Choi Min Woo.
Min Woo is the illegitimate son of the chairman of SJ Groups. He is the company’s heir. He faces bitter behaviour from the chairman’s wife and his half-sister, Min Yeon. Min Woo is wealthy. He had grown up without love or care in his life. He don’t have any friends. His wedding is also part of his business plan. His father has agreed to this marriage because of the beneficial business arrangements.
Seo Eun Ha has an extramarital affair with Min Yeon’s husband, Min Seok Hoon. Min Seok Hoon is a progressive and ambitious man. He can do anything to prevent Min Woo from being the successor of the company. He always conspires against Min Woo.
Everything takes an unexpected turn when Seo Eun Ha dies. And Min Seok Hoon threatens Byun Ji Sook to take her place. Min Woo started to live with Byun Ji Sook. He gets puzzled by the behaviour of his new wife. Byun Ji Sook is different from his expectations. Will he ever find the true identity of Byun Ji Sook?
