The story of movie is inspired by the real incident held at Raniganj Coalfields in the year 1989. The movie tells the tale of bravery of the Late Jaswant Singh Gill.
Jaswant Singh Gill was rescue trained officer. He was a simple man with high life values. He has a calm personality. And was expert in his work.
He got the news that Raniganj Coalfields are getting flooded by an accident. The news of Coalfields spreads rapidly and the families starts to get panic for the safety of their dear ones.
Most if worker came out after the outbreak of the flood within the coal mines. 65 found to be missing. The higher authorities assumed that they have drowned with water of flood.
Later, they get to know that those 65 workers are still alive and they are stucked within the mines. Jaswant Singh Gill makes a rescue plan which was never used before. He went down to the flooded coal mines to save the lives of 65 coalmine workers.
Actors Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra are playing the lead role with various other actors in supporting roles in the movie.
Akshay Kumar is playing the lead role of Late Jaswant Singh Gill in the movie. The famous Indian actor has received the highest honor of Padam Shree by the Government of India. He is also is popular as Khiladi Kumar. Akshay Kumar has played notable roles in movies Pad Man, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Mission Mangal. He also appeared in recently released movie OMG 2.
Parineeti Chopra is playing the role of Late Jaswant Singh’s wife Nirdosh Kaur Gill. The Indian actress mainly works in Hindi Movies. She has won many awaess for her acting performance in movies. She is known for her roles in movies Ishaqzaade, Shuddh Desi Romance and Hasee Toh Phasee.

The movie is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. He is a Indian filmmaker. Tinu Suresh Desai is known for directing a popular movie Rustom. He gained his first National Movie Award as the Director of the movie.
The movie is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Ajay Kapoor under the banner of Pooja Entertainment and AK Productions.
The music for the various soundtrack of the movie are composed by Satinder Sartaaj, Prem-Hardeep, Arko, Vishal Mishra and Gaurav Chatterji.
The movie was released on Netflix on December 1, 2023.
