Mouni Roy supports Smriti Irani After Election Defeat

After Smriti Irani loses the election, Mouni Roy declares, “I am always with you.” 

Mauni Roy and many other celebrities supported Actor turned Politician Smriti Irani after her defeat in Lok Sabha Elections. Namaste Irani thanked those who had backed her on Instagram following her defeat in the Amethi Lok Sabha seat.

Smriti Irani, a former actor who entered politics, was defeated by a Congress party candidate in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday by a significant majority of votes. Actor Mouni Roy and other family members and close friends are lending her support following the election setback.

Smriti Irani posted her acceptance of her loss on Instagram along with her appreciation for those who supported her after losing the seat.

“Life is like this… A ten-year period of my life spent relocating between villages, fostering hope and dreams, and constructing roads, naali, khadanja, bypasses, medical colleges, and other infrastructure,” Smriti stated.

She went on, “I will always be grateful to everyone who supported me through success and tragedy. Congratulations to everyone who is celebrating today. And to those who enquire, “How’s Josh? It’s still high, Sir, I say.” 

In the comments area, her friends and supporters spoke forward to express their support for her. One such remark came from Mouni, her co-star in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and buddy. With a red heart emoji, Mouni wrote, “Always with you.”

The actor Neena Gupta said, “Just keep working hard.” In the comments section, actor Sonu Sood also inserted a red heart emoji. Supporting Smriti, actor Aashka Goradia wrote, “With you EVERYDAY! Nothing has stopped you from doing good, and nothing ever will! Total Force.”
