In order to pay for her sister’s finishing-school education, vaudeville hoofer Lucy Higgins reinvents herself as notorious Burlesque queen Lucille Le Jambon. Eventually the sheriff closes down Lucy’s show, whereupon she opens an ice cream parlor, much to the chagrin of oh-so-pious Deacon Grayling.
