Frustrated with her dysfunctional home life, Lacey Farmer runs away to Hawaii to follow her dream of becoming a professional surfer. Once she learns that old friend Justin is coaching a team of young women for WaveSync, she determines to show Justin that she has the chops to be a pro-surfer. Meanwhile the new WaveSync girls Birdie, Dawn and Kai have problems of their own.
