Kabluey

Feckless man-child Salman (writer-director Scott Prendergast), who’s helping his sister-in-law (Lisa Kudrow) care for her hyperactive kids, plays Kabluey, a failing Internet-company mascot in a big blue suit. But Kabluey is also a man-sized Rorschach test, a faceless and yet oddly endearing creature who changes people’s lives in small and unexpected ways in this offbeat comedy. Christine Taylor, Teri Garr, Conchata Ferrell., First-time feature filmmaker Scott Prendergast writes, directs, and stars in this heartfelt comedy concerning a military wife (Lisa Kudrow) who drafts her oddball brother-in-law as a live-in babysitter while her husband is away fighting in Iraq. Later, when her brother-in-law gains employment as a giant corporate mascot, he soon discovers that there are certain advantages to having a secret identity.
