Three slackers in their mid-twenties try to nudge themselves out of the nest in the independent comedy My Dog Vincent. O’Brien (Chuck Campbell), Harper (Gavin Crawford), and Wiley (Ben Carlson) spend most of their time hanging out in O’Brien’s basement, talking about women, playing board games, and occasionally fending off the verbal barbs of O’Brien’s little brother, Nathan (Kyle Downes). O’Brien is the de facto leader of the group, Harper is smart but a little bit crazy (and is so obsessed with Vincent Price that he named his dog after him), and Wiley is a laid-back, go-with-the-flow type. But going with the flow isn’t getting them anywhere, and slowly it dawns on O’Brien that he has to start doing something with his life. He’s aided in his voyage into the real world by Sue (Zehra Leverman), his new girlfriend, who is a good bit taller than he is and uses her height to intimidate O’Brien into taking some healthy risks., Three slackers spend their lives holed up in a basement playing scrabble and discussing what a life they might have if they ventured into the world. Chuck Campbell, Gavin Crawford, Ben Carlson.
