NYPD Blue Franco, My Dear, I Don’t Give a Damn

Worried about the well-being of his son Theo, Andy (Dennis Franz) considers remarrying his ex-wife Katie (Debra Monk). After breaking up with Mary (Sheeri Rappaport) for good, Danny (Rick Schroder) dedicates himself to keeping Diane (Kim Delaney) out of harm’s way — which Diane deeply resents. And a New York police captain (Richard Brooks), the husband of a woman cop wounded in a shoot-out, endangers the successful prosecution of the case by beating up the suspect. Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon makes her first appearance as new Assistant DA Valerie Heywood., A female cop’s shooting has Danny on edge about Diane’s safety, while Jones and Medavoy handle a suspect who was roughed up after being tagged as the gunman and Fancy fights to keep the officer’s husband from blowing the case. Meanwhile, Franco (Sheeri Rappaport) lets Danny know she’s finished waiting for him; and Katie puts her foot down about her extended presence in Andy’s life—and home.
