Director Keith Jones documentary Punk in Africa offers a revealing look at the multi-racial punk movement in South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe during the 1980s and 90s. Fueled by social and political unrest, the movement emerged in the wake of the Soweto Uprising of 1976, and offered a voice to opponents of apartheid.
