The Lady and the Bandit

The dramatic life of dashing 18th-century antihero Dick Turpin, an English highwayman whose exploits were immortalized in Alfred Noyes’ poem Dick Turpin’s Ride, is chronicled in this costume drama. The notorious bandit is seen embarking upon his fateful 200 mile gallop from London to York to save his wife, wrongfully accused of murder, from the gallows.
