You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown

A cartoon adaptation of the 1967 off-Broadway musical, charting the frustrating ups and downs of hapless Charlie Brown. First, it’s a bothersome homework assignment. Then, disaster strikes at his baseball team’s big game., The Broadway musical based on Charles Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts is animated in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Though the musical contains some fine songs, most of them don’t translate well to this animated form, and it is somewhat disconcerting to actually hear Snoopy sing.
