Mumbai Diaries season 2: The latest released sequel to a most popular web series OTT release

The second season of the series is set nine months after the first season. The staff at the Bombay General Hospital is back to their normal work. They are dealing with the aftereffects of the terror attacks and their personal struggles.

Amidst all these, Mumbai is on red alert due to heavy rainfall. The citizens are advised by higher authorities to stay indoors. Everyone is unaware of the natural calamity that is approaching at a slow and steady pace.

As the rainfall gets intense, its effects start to become devastating. The effects of rainfall start to turn into a flood, which is causing destruction throughout the city. People start to struggle for their lives. The smoothly running city starts to turn into the havoc of nature.

The scene in the hospital also changes with the changes in the weather conditions. The number of patients starts to rise, and they turn into a crowd seeking medical attention to save their lives.

It’s a great challenge for the staff at Bombay General Hospital to give the best treatment to the patient while dealing with personal problems. The cases that arrived at the hospital this time are more critical than those of terror attacks. This time the team of doctors and staff is fighting against the cruelty of nature, not man.

Actors Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande, and Prakash Belawadi are playing various characters in the series, along with various actors in the supporting roles.

The screenplay for the series is done by Sanyukta Chawla Sheikh.

Mumbai Dairies Season 2 is created by Nikhil Advani with the production team of Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani in association with Emmay Entertainment

The second season of the series will be released on October 6, 2023, on OTT Amazon Prime Video.
