Munjya, starring Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, and Sharvari Wagh, is one of the most popular films of 2024. The horror comedy flick debuted on June 7 and has been doing well at the box office. The storyline and plot have received rave reviews from critics and spectators alike. Those who have seen the film may have recognised Varun Dhawan’s cameo in the final sequence of the movie.
This was a surprise factor for all those who are eagerly awaiting Bhediya 2. Varun Dhawan is spotted hiding behind a large rock in the bush, shrouded in leaves. He then approaches Abhishek Banerjee‘s character Janardan, who tosses some garments at Bhaskar, and asks for his help. Then Bhaskar wears the pants and the clip stops, scaring Munjya.
Director Aditya Sarpotdar revealed interesting details about the connection between the two movie. When asked how Munjya will connect with the Bhediya Universe, Aditya responded, “The two movies are not face-to-face. But Munjya responds to what Varun Dhawan says. There is obviously a relationship, but the fun is to wait and see how this plays out in the Bhediya sequel. Aditya has left fans eagerly anticipating the release of sequels of both movies.
Munjya is based on a character from Konkan seashore legend. Dinesh Vijan has produced the film. Varun Dhawan is now working with Baby John. The film also has Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in key parts. Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal had a baby daughter on June 3 and are enjoying the parenting experience.
