Murakh The Idiot is a short film that shows the story of a husband who is making an effort to meet his wife.
The short movie focuses on Abdul Hamid Hassan. He hijacks a flight heading from Bangulu towards Australia. His wife is working as a maid in Australia. Since some time, Abdul has lost all contact with his wife. He is worried for her and wants to visit her. He had also applied for the visa. But his application was rejected. After many thoughts, he plans to hijack the plan to reach his wife. But his attempts fail when he gets arrested. The police start to search for his criminal records and find surprising facts about him. His profile matches that of the most wanted terrorist. Is Abdul playing with the police by being innocent? Or is he being framed under a conspiracy?
Actors Virendra Saxena and Arfi Laamba are playing key roles in the short movie.
The short movie is co-directed by Ruchi Joshi and Sriram Ganapathy. It is produced by Bombay Berlin Film Production.
