Director Nag Ashwin has been the buzz of the town since his newest film, Kalki 2898 AD, was released in theatres and became a massive blockbuster at the box office internationally. The film has grossed around Rs 950 crore globally and is quickly approaching the coveted Rs 1,000 crore club.
Meanwhile, Prathyangira Cinemas, Kalki 2898 AD‘s US distributors, are organising a special screening of Kalki at the largest IMAX screen in the United States, TCL Chinese Theatres, on July 13th at 2:30 PM. Nag Ashwin will also be in attendance at this thrilling showing to engage with the audience and celebrate the success of the film.
In Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani, and many more play major roles. Ashwini Dutt produced the film, and Santhosh Narayanan wrote the soundtrack.
