Bollywood actress and former MP Jaya Parda has been declared absconding by the court. The court has ordered the police to arrest him and produce him. Actually, this matter is during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Two cases of code of conduct violation were registered against the actress.
Action has been ordered under Section 82 by the MP MLA Magistrate Court of Rampur against former MP and film actress Jaya Prada. Non-bailable warrants (NBW) have been issued against Jaya Prada almost 9 times for not reaching the court in case of violation of code of conduct during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, now action has been taken against him declaring him absconding for not appearing in the court for a long time.
During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party had fielded film actress Jaya Prada as its candidate against Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party alliance candidate Azam Khan for Rampur Lok Sabha seat. During the election campaign, two cases of code of conduct violation were filed against Jaya Prada. Whose hearing is going on in the MP-MLA Magistrate Trial Court of Rampur. Jaya Prada did not appear in the court for a long time. After that the court also issued non-bailable warrants several times. The hearing was to be held in the court on Tuesday also, but Jaya Prada did not reach the court. After which the court has taken action under Section 82 of CrPC.
Prosecution officer of MP MLA Magistrate Court Amarnath Tiwari said that Jaya Prada was summoned by the court to record her statement. Jayaprada was not appearing in the court for a long time. Police told the court that Jaya Prada’s mobile phone is also off. The court has taken action under Section 82 of CrPC and has also instructed Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi to form a team and arrest Jaya Prada. The next date of hearing has been fixed for March 6.
