The biographical movie shows the real-life events of world-class athlete Daina Nyad.
Diana Nyad is a long-distance swimmer. She works as a journalist, too. She has written many inspirational writeups that have influenced the lives of millions of her followers.
After three decades of giving up marathon swimming, Nyad decides to return to the world of swimming. During these years she worked as a journalist. She has gained a million followers through her inspirational writeups. Nyad desires to complete an epic swim trip. A 110-mile trek from Cuba to Florida attracted Nyad, and she decided to pursue her passion for swimming.
Nyad starts the training with the help of her best friend and coach, Bonnie Stoll. She puts in all her effort to make herself strong enough to complete the swim. At the age of 60, Nyad becomes the first person to finish the swim without using a shark cage.
The thrilling four-year journey with her best friend and coach, Bonnie Stoll, along with her sailing team, is shown in the movie.
An American Annette Bening is playing the role of Diana Nyad in the movie. She is a brilliant actress. She has received BAFTA Award, Golden Globes Award, Primetime Emmy Award, Tony Award and Academy Awards.
