At that time, in a small town in Jeolla Province, two friends, Lee Doo Hak and Choi Cheol Woong, were trying to make their way through high school and adolescence.
Lee Doo-Hak comes from a poor family background. He is smart and compassionate. Choi Cheol Woong is the type of person who can’t accept losing. He belongs to an established family.
Their lives were forever changed when Oh Jung Shin, a girl from Seoul, transferred to their school. Oh Jung-Shin is always honest and confident. She is brave enough to fight against injustice.
After transferring to her new school from Seoul, she forms a bond with Lee Doo-Hak and Choi Cheol-Woong. Jung Shin develops a close bond with these two boys. The two boys developed romantic feelings for Oh Jung Shin as time passed. This gives rise to a love rivalry between them.
An unexpected incident framed Lee Doo Hak as a criminal. This leads his family to face a tragedy. These unexpected events led him towards violence and revenge. Will he ever be able to evolve from these traumatic events? Will he find the real reason behind his misery?
