Famous Odia actor Uttam Mohanty has passed away in Delhi at the age of 66. He was suffering from liver cirrhosis for a long time and was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Maji has expressed grief over his death. Mohanty had worked in more than 130 films and was a superstar of Odia cinema for four decades. His departure from the world is a big loss for the Odia film industry. He has also earned recognition for his acting skills in Hindi and Bengali films.
