This movie starring Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwari did wonders on OTT, but this film directed by Imtiaz Ali also dominated the box office. Now recently the film’s lead actress Trupti Dimri has talked about her movie.
She said, “When ‘Laila Majnu’ came, I felt that it would definitely be a hit. I was very new, I did not know how work works in the industry. I thought that after this film, I would have to step out of the house. It will be difficult. People will start recognizing me, but nothing happened. But it was seen on OTT”

Tripti Dimri further said, “Even today, if I ever go to Kashmir, people there call me Laila. The film was shot in Jammu and Kashmir. I am happy that people are still so attached to that character. For me, this is Success is more about people’s love than box office numbers”.
