Prabhas: Prabhas will not be a part of Kalki’s Japan premiere ?
Prabhas had a great performance with his last release ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ directed by Nag Ashwin. The film, which has broken many box office records in the country and around the world, is now set to premiere in Japan. Earlier Prabhas was supposed to be a part of this event but now it is not possible. The actor’s latest statement makes it clear that he got injured during the shooting of his new film, due to which he could not go to Japan.
Prabhas will not be a part of Kalki’s Japan premiere
In a statement released on social media, Prabhas expressed his gratitude for the immense love and wishes he and his film received from overseas audiences. He remarked that he had been looking forward to visiting Japan for a long time. However, the actor revealed that he will not be able to be a part of the Japan premiere show of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ as he has injured his ankle while shooting for the upcoming film.
Apologised to the people of Japan
Prabhas wrote, ‘Thank you for always showering so much love on me and my work. I have been waiting to visit Japan for quite some time. However, I am very sad to say that I sprained my ankle during filming and will not be able to be a part of the event. Our distributor, Twin, has been extremely supportive and we are grateful for all their efforts in getting ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ ready for release on Friday, January 3. I hope to see you soon. Prabhas.’ The film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is to premiere in Japan on December 18
