Prabhas’ most awaited sequel Salaar 2 on hold?

Prabhas starrer the Salaar sequel by Prasanth Neel on hold? Recent image that the creators have posted, which appears to indicate otherwise.

Prabhas fans are eagerly awaiting the Prashanth Neel‘s Salaar sequel. The makers have released a new image of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel laughing during filming amid rumours that the sequel has been scrapped. Many fans believe that this update is a veiled reaction to the speculation that the sequel would not go forward. In December of last year, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire debuted on theatres, competing favourably at the box office despite Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki.

It was previously announced that Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is scheduled to begin filming in June. An updated photo of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel enjoying a tender moment on set was posted on Sunday by the movie’s official X handle. Parbhas was observed sporting a green jacket and a dark blue shirt. “They can’t stop laughing (smiling face emoticon)” was written in the caption.

The sequel may be shelved due to “creative differences between Prashanth Neel and Prabhas,” according to a report. Regarding Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, Prashanth Neel had revealed his plans. “All of this will only serve to strengthen Deva and Varadha’s friendship and animosity against one another. And that’s how I want Salaar 2 to end; that was the main goal,” he declared.

Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is set in the fictitious dystopian city-state of Khansaar and centres on the friendship between Varadha (Prithviraj Sukumaran), the prince of Khansaar, and Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman. Shruti Haasan, Bobby Simha, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, John Vijay, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and other actors also starred in the movie.
