Lineage
As the gang investigates a team of cyborg assassins, Wes gets a visit from his estranged father (Roy Dotrice), who brings news of a re-formed Watchers’ Council. But the social call soon sours when the elder Wyndam-Pryce encounters Angel, who’s the real reason he’s in L.A.. Eve: Sarah Thompson. Knox: Jonathan M. Woodward., Angel long ago established the premise that Wesley Wyndham-Pryce (Alexis Denisof) has a stern and disapproving father, who never forgave his son for getting fired from the Watchers’ Council. Now, as Angel (David Boreanaz) and company battle a mysterious group of cyborg assassins, Roger Wyndham-Pryce (Roy Dotrice) shows up with an offer to bring Wes back on board the newly reformed council. Busy with — and fulfilled by — his work at Wolfram & Hart, Wes declines the offer. Before the elder Wyndham-Pryce finishes his visit, Wes will uncover some startling information about his father.
