This retelling of the Area 88 OVA finds Japanese pilot Shin Kazama imbedded in the ranks of a fighter squad in a Middle Eastern kingdom called Asran. Stationed at the infamous Area 88, this super-secret mercenary faction carries out the deadliest assassinations and military takedowns for the highest bidder. Tricked by his best friend into signing the contract, Shin lost everything: his job as an airline pilot; his fiancée, Ryoko; and, most importantly, his freedom.
