Conclusion. Galactica sends a team to probe an infected baseship, and learns from dying Cylons how Baltar is helping their adversaries; the virus inspires Lee to come up with a new strategy., Upon discovering a Cylon baseship adrift in the Lion’s Head nebula, Apollo and Athena investigate and discover that a mysterious virus has decimated the Cylon crew. The few remaining Cylon survivors are rushed back to the Battlestar, where Doc Cottle develops a vaccine that can curb the effects of the virus with frequent injections. The prospect of being cured ultimately proves too much for sick Cylon Simon to deny, and in desperation he soon tells the Galactica crew everything he knows about Baltar’s role in helping the Cylons find Earth. But back in the Cylon fleet, D’Anna and Caprica Six now believe that Baltar is leading the Cylons into the Nebula in hopes that they will become infected and die — subsequently torturing him in hopes of eliciting a confession. Meanwhile, on the Battlestar, Lee Adama hatches an ingenious plan to decimate the Cylons by drifting into close range with a Cylon resurrection ship and killing the infected prisoners so that the disease will spread to the fleet when they download to new bodies. No doubt it’s a brilliant plan, but is it a morally sound one?, The Cylons have occupied the human settlement of New Caprica and it’s been three months since the Galactica, and the Pegasus, plus a handful of ships escaped into deep space. But the fight is not over. On New Caprica, a resistance movement has begun and, despite having only a handful of untested pilots at his command, Admiral Adama is committed to risking everything on a daring attack to rescue the people he left behind., D’Anna Biers believes Baltar is hiding information that could be crucial to the survival of the Cylons, and she is willing to take extreme measures to uncover it., Meanwhile, Admiral Adama and Laura Roslin decide whether to follow through on Apollo’s plan to use a biological weapon against the Cylons., When a group of ill Cylons is brought to Galactica, Lee discovers a way to solve the Cylon problem forever. Meanwhile, D’anna’s acts to discover if Baltar is reliable will forge an unusual relationship.
