Picky Eaters
The entertaining Big Comfy Couch series gives preschool-age children an opportunity to learn about the world and getting along with others, by sharing the experiences of the clown Loonette, her doll named Molly, and the other inhabitants of Clowntown. In this episode, Molly refuses to eat nutritious food: She only wants doughnuts — and Loonette is concerned that this isn’t healthy. Eventually, Loonette comes up with a menu of healthful foods and lets Molly choose whatever she wants from it. The special song is “Picky Girl.” Children explore the concepts of picking, pointing, and indicating.
