Time for Molly
The entertaining Big Comfy Couch series gives preschool-age children an opportunity to learn about the world and getting along with others, by sharing the experiences of the clown Loonette, her doll named Molly, and the other inhabitants of Clowntown. In this episode, children explore the concepts “getting horizontal” and “lying down,” and the featured song is “Stayin’ Up” — as Molly the doll very stubbornly resists her nap. Loonette tries to help her feel drowsy (by counting sheep, counting winks and blinks, all the way up to 40), but nothing works until Loonette remembers the age-old remedy: a story.
