As Time Goes By
Stressed out by her job and her schoolwork, and mad because she feels that Cory (Ben Savage) isn’t taking life seriously enough, Topanga (Danielle Fishel) wanders into her closet–and is abruptly sucked in via a time-continuum vortex! She emerges in a black-and-white 1940s world, unable to remember who she is or where she comes from. At this point, the episode morphs into an offbeat joint parody of The Maltese Falcon and Casablanca, with all of the familiar Boy Meets World characters showing up with alternate identities at the exotic Shangri-La Café. Not unexpectedly, Topanga learns a valuable life lesson–but she has to get murdered to do so!, A film-noir spoof finds Topanga (Danielle Fishel) causing waves at a placid resort where her uptight ways lead someone to murder.
