For months, underground construction Boomers have been disappearing, leaving behind only crushed remains. The mystery piques Mason’s interest, especially since the disappearances seem to be centering around the pre-quake location of Bioscape Labs. Sylia is aware of the situation despite the Genom-controlled media blackout, and tries to put the pieces together. Leon tries to find out more about Priss through Nene, who he now knows is a friend of hers. Letting her enthusiasm get the better of her, Nene tries to match the two of them up — and once Sylia finds out, she’s furious at Nene for recklessly opening a potential security breach. Fed up with her antics, Sylia threatens to expel Nene from the Knight Sabers. When the Knight Sabers and the AD Police respond to a rogue underground Boomer, Nene rushes in to prove that she’s a useful member of the team and nearly gets herself killed. Much to everyone’s horror, the floor opens up under Nene’s feet, revealing a giant monster — which immediately starts to eat the Boomer. American release in 2000.
