An experimental manned Boomer seems to have gone rogue, operating independently without its pilot. However, it isn’t attacking anybody, instead wandering the streets as if in a trance. The AD Police discovers that the missing Boomer and its driver, Bill Nordberg, had been missing for over a month. The Boomer arrives at Bill’s home, catching his wife Ellen in the arms of another man. As the AD Police converge on the house and attack the Boomer, it goes on a rampage, fleeing the house. Priss and Nene confront and dispatch the Boomer as Ellen watches. Leon and Daley explain to her that they had found that her husband had discovered her affair, but died shortly after in an accident. Somehow, Bill’s memories were transferred to the Boomer, who tried to come home to find her.
