It’s the final showdown on several fronts as Buffy faces Adam, the Initiative battles its demon ex-prisoners and Buffy’s friends must overcome their fears and once again work together as a team as all hell breaks loose below Sunnydale., Part two of two. Buffy and her friends realise Spike has been manipulating them. They reunite to stop Adam’s final scheme to flood the Initiative base with demons and create an army of cyborg creatures like himself – with a mentally controlled Riley set to be become one of them., Buffy’s estrangement from her friends threatens the prevention of Adam’s plan to design a master race of human/demon hybrids., It’s the final showdown on several fronts as Buffy faces Adam, the Initiative battles its demon ex-prisoners and Buffy’s friends must overcome their fears and once again work together as a team as all hell breaks loose below Sunnydale. Adam: George Hertzberg. Riley: Marc Blucas. Spike: James Marsters., Having gained control of Riley’s mind, Adam sets in motion his plot to destroy the Initiative and create an army of unstoppable soldiers., Adam (George Hertzberg) now controls Riley (Marc Blucas) via a chip implanted in his arm by Dr. Walsh (Lindsay Crouse). His plan to create an army of half human/half demon is finally revealed along with new recruits Forrest (Leonard Roberts) and Dr. Walsh. Meanwhile, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) meets up with Giles (Anthony Head), Willow (Alyson Hannigan), and Xander (Nicholas Brendon). After comparing notes, the group realizes they’ve been tricked by Spike (James Marsters) into being angry with each other. They also piece together Adam’s evil plan and break into the Initiative compound to put it to an end. They are captured by Initiative commandos and at the same time Adam releases the demons and chaos ensues. Needless to say, Spike’s chip stays implanted. During the final battle sequence, Willow, Xander, and Giles magically imbue Buffy with heightened supernatural powers that seem correlate to each character’s best personality trait.
