Comic horror anthology. Kaufman (Richard Riehle) shows four lost fright films at his theater’s closing night in this wonderfully weird horror anthology. Segments include Tim Sullivan’s “I Was a Teenage Werebear,” Adam Rifkin’s “Wadzilla,” Adam Green’s “The Diary of Anne Frankenstein” and Joe Lynch’s “Zom-B-Movie.”, Southern California drive-in proprietor Cecil B. Kaufman (Richard Riehle) celebrates the death of his beloved drive-in with a horror marathon that will have bloodhounds howling in this kitchy anthology film featuring shorts from Adam Rifkin, Adam Green, Tim Sullivan, and Joe Lynch. The first tale, directed by Sullivan and entitled “I Was a Teenage Wearbear,” is set in the 1960s, when gay teens began to experience a strange transformation. The terror continues in “Wadzilla,” a story of an enormous, rampaging sperm starring and directed by cult icon Rifkin. Adam Green’s “The Diary of Anne Frankenstein” reveals a side of Adolph Hitler even his closest confidants never saw, and the final segment, Joe Lynch’s “Zom-B-Movie,” offers gory thrills from the living dead.
