An expedition is organized to analyze giant fossils that are found near Mongolia. However, an explosion leaves the team underground where they find giant beasts., In this supernatural drama directed by Chuan Lu, Professor Yang (Wang Qingxiang) joins his daughter (Yao Chen) and comrade Hu Bay (Mark Chao), on a mission to excavate giant fossils that have been found in Mongolia. An explosion brings the mission to a disastrous halt, and their fall causes several monstrous beings to emerge from the Earth’s core. More than three decades later, Hu has devoted himself to the study of demonology, and learns that Professor Yang has been found alive near the site of the explosion. In addition, the creatures unleashed during the disaster are found to have terrorized a mining village in Northern China. Along with Yang, Hu looks to prevent the unearthly creatures from wreaking additional havoc on the Earth., An explorer stumbles across some mysterious fossils in the mountains of China which transforms his life.
