The boys are all considering the implications of Steve arriving home to find Susan vacuuming. The complexity is usually about their sex and love lives., When Susan (Sarah Alexander) throws a dinner party for the entire gang, Jane (Gina Bellman) brings along her therapist, Jill (Elizabeth Marmur), whom everyone assumes to be Jane’s lover. With this sapphic subtext in place, it’s unfortunate that Susan has recently discovered one of Steve’s porn videos: “Lesbian Spank Inferno.” A guilt-wracked Steve having blurted a confession of love to Susan to cover up his embarrassment, the stage is set for a long evening of innuendo and embarrassment.
