Directed by William Malone., A Saturn-based space crew discovers a ghoul., In Creature, a futuristic space thriller, a crew of scientists arrives on a far, cold planet to examine archaic artifacts of unknown origin. They discover that the German enemies already have a ship there. When they seek their help after a failed landing, they only find the German’s bodies, obviously slaughtered by one the archaic creatures. Now the aliens begin pursuing the newly arrived crew. Creature is obviously a low-budget rip-off of Alien but without its thrillers and character development. Klaus Kinski is good as Hans Hofner, but otherwise the cast is lackluster as are the special effects. This average science fiction film will please less-sophisticated viewers.
