The Thing About Heroes
Mac closes in on the “333” stalker who is pursuing him and learns the significance of the numbers; a CSI is taken hostage., Having returned home to Chicago, Mac finally realises his stalker’s motivation and identity. In his absence, Stella leads the team to the subway where a train driver has been murdered. However, this crime turns out to be another message from the killer and part of a long-term plan inspired by his desire for revenge., The search for Mac’s stalker leads him to Chicago, where the discovery of a 30-year-old corpse reveals a secret from Mac’s past. Meanwhile, Mac’s team are put in danger when the stalker traps them in a runaway subway train.
