When George tries to count all the stars in the sky, but cannot stay awake to finish the task, he comes up with a system to help keep track of his count. As a reward for helping wash the dishes at the restaurant, chef Pisghetti gives George an icecream sculpture in the shape of Gnocchi the cat. An eager George is keen to show the Man in the Yellow Hat the trophy, but it keeps melting, teaching George a valuable lesson about what happens to ice cream outside of the freezer., George tries to count all the stars he sees in the sky, but it proves to be quite a challenge as he struggles to keep track of his tabulations.
