Doc Martin returns for a second season. The likeable, grumpy doctor is back in this amusing drama set in a sleepy Cornish village. With his unique bedside manner he continues to cure the strange ailments of the village dwellers., Police Constable Mylow is bitten by a deadly snake; Bert’s efforts trash Al’s new flat; and North Cornwall beaches are littered with poisonous fish., PC Mylow is bitten by a deadly snake; Bert’s efforts trash Al’s new flat; North Cornwall beaches are littered with poisonous fish., When PC Mylow heads out to the woods with Al for his stag weekend, it quickly goes horribly wrong, prompting Park Ranger Stewart and Martin to search for them. The beaches of Cornwall seem to be stormed by legions of poisonous fish., It’s just two weeks before PC Mark Mylow marries beautiful blonde Julie Mitchell, and he doesn’t have a best man. He asks Dr Ellingham who flatly refuses to entertain the idea. But he finds Al Large is willing to step into the breach. But does Al know what he has let himself in for when Mark outlines the idea for his stag weekend? Mark wants to sleep rough in the woods, under the stars. Not surprisingly the men of Portwenn, including the doctor, would rather have a few beers than camp out in the wilderness.
