Goku fights Frieza as a Super Saiyan., Angered by the deaths of two of his friends, Goku transforms into a gold-illuminated Super Saiyan. This fails to frighten the seemingly unconquerable Frieza, but he soon learns that he has underestimated this “new” enemy. Perhaps now the battle of Namek will end with an unconditional victory for Goku’s forces–and then again. . . . “Explosion of Anger” was broadcast in Japan on June 19, 1991, and in America on October 19, 1999.
