Picking up from where the hugely popular Dragon Ball manga series finished, the Dragon Ball Z anime television show continues the sagas of Goku, the world’s strongest fighter as the defender of Earth., Piccolo and Krillin are turned to stone by the Dabura, the King of the Demons. Meanwhile, Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta find themselves trapped on Babidi’s ship., Arriving in the spaceship of the evil wizard Babidi, Z-Fighters Piccolo and Krillin are promptly turned into stone statues. Attempting to rescue their petrified companions, Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta are trapped within the walls of the ship. Worse still, Babidi’s superpowered henchmen (whom were supposedly disposed of in an earlier episode) are closing in. First telecast in Japan in 1993, “King of the Demons” made its first American TV appearance on October 16, 2001.
