Goku hits Cell with the Kamehameha Wave, reducing the android to dust. Surly this is the end of Cell?, Picking up from where the hugely popular Dragon Ball manga series finished, the Dragon Ball Z anime television show continues the sagas of Goku, the world’s strongest fighter as the defender of Earth., The title of this DragonBall Z episode seems irrefutable. The deadly “Kamehameha” volley has apparently destroyed the fearsome Cell. As the TV commentators prepare their wrap-up the tournament, the Z-Fighters celebrate their victory — all except Krillin, who realizes that Cell may be down, but not out. Krillin’s fears come to fruition when Cell absorbs Piccolo’s energy and suddenly regenerates. The battle between Cell and Goku resumes — then, suddenly, Goku surprises everyone (including his opponent) by throwing in the towel. Originally broadcast in Japan in 1993, “The Fight Is Over” aired in America on December 5, 2000.
