Fatty Joins the Force

Fatty Arbuckle silent-comedy short in which he saves a little girl from drowning and as a result is invited to become a cop—a Keystone Kop., After saving a little girl from drowning, Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle receives an offer to join the police force, or rather, the Keystone Cops. This Mack Sennett-produced quickie, however, focuses primarily on Arbuckle’s antics, and justifiably so — even though he’d been at the Keystone Studios for only a few months, he’d already become a star in his own right. The big man comes up with some masterful pratfalls.
