FLASHPOINT is a drama that depicts the emotional journey into the tough, risk-filled lives of a group of cops in the SRU (inspired by Toronto’s Emergency Task Force). It’s a unique unit that rescues hostages, busts gangs, defuses bombs, climbs the sides of buildings and talks down suicidal teens. Parker finds himself in a terrible trap, which means that he has to tell a secret in order to save his life., Parker receives a message from a girl he helped after her mother was killed in a police raid, but when he meets her, he is attacked by her jealous ex-boyfriend, who is convinced the sergeant is responsible for her mother’s murder years earlier. The SRU is quick to pursue their abducted comrade, desperate to find him before it is too late.
