Their tragic demise was caused by the desertion of a key soldier. Now the cowboy is gunning for the traitor. He travels to the coward’s ranch and there finds the man’s blind, little brother, and the man’s uncle. The hero stays there to await the yellow-belly’s return. While there, he finds himself growing closer to the brother and his uncle. He begins to change his mind about getting revenge. Another vengeful cowboy takes the choice away by riding up and trying to murder the entire family. Surprisingly, the hero defends them. When the traitor finally comes home, he and the hero join forces and save the ranch.
