Franklin the turtle doesn’t want to play soccer in Franklin Plays the Game as his team always loses. But when he suggests they all start practising more often they soon learn how to play properly and have loads of fun together even when they lose. In Franklin Wants a Pet, Franklin thinks he’s ready for a real pet instead of just his stuffed dog Sam, but he doesn’t know which pet to choose., Franklin decides to change the fact that his soccer team remains scoreless this season by practicing more and finding a way for his teammates to play to their strengths. Later on, Franklin eagerly awaits for his parents to rule on whether he’s allowed to have a pet.
