Frasier’s attempt to produce a live, 1940s-style radio drama for KACL’s 50th anniversary proves disastrous when Niles takes matters into his own hands., In honour of KACL’s fiftieth birthday, Frasier decides to recreate an on-air live drama from the 40s, recruiting Roz and Niles to play the characters., Frasier produces an old-fashioned radio drama in honour of the station’s anniversary, but it plays as a farce., In honor of KACL’s anniversary, Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) puts together his version of a “classic” radio drama. Unfortunately, Frasier insists upon directing the show as well, assuming this responsibility in the manner that makes your average banana-republic dictator look like Santa Claus; not surprisingly, his fellow actors are soon teetering on the verge of mutiny. Perhaps as a result, our hero’s drama comes off like a comedy — with everyone having a good, long laugh except for poor Frasier., Frasier produces an old-fashioned radio drama in honor of the station’s anniversary, but it plays as a farce.
