Palm Springs
Having survived the freezing temperatures of Canada, Freddie can shed a few layers this week as he moves down to the positively balmy climate of Palm Springs in California. There he hooks up with another soccer star – former Spurs, Leicester, Bolton and England goalie Ian Walker. The pair head off to the desert dunes for a race in some high-powered buggies, compete in a rock climbing challenge at the stunningly beautiful Joshua Tree Park, then attempt the extremely dangerous sport of wing walking. Unfortunately, poor old Ian has a terror of heights, not ideal for hanging off of rocks or flying upside down in a light plane. They also pay a visit to Elvis’s house no less., Former English-soccer goalie Ian Walker joins Freddie in Palm Springs for dune-buggy racing; rock climbing; and wing walking.
